Release Decoder (“Release Decoder,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and protected when you use the Release Decoder iOS application.

We do not require you to provide information such as your full name, home address, telephone number, employer, employee number, pilot certificate number, or payment information unless separately disclosed to you.
Passwords should not be stored by Release Decoder in readable form. Authentication credentials may be handled by [identify authentication provider, such as Apple, Firebase Authentication, Supabase, or your own account system].
PDFs imported into Release Decoder are processed locally on your device.
Release Decoder does not upload imported PDFs to our servers. Information extracted from those PDFs is not transmitted to us and is not used for analytics, advertising, profiling, or marketing.
Imported PDFs and decoded information may remain on your device according to the app’s functionality and your device settings. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and any documents stored on it.
Release Decoder does not collect app analytics.
Release Decoder does not use information from imported documents to track you across apps or websites. We do not sell your personal information and do not use your information for targeted advertising.
Release Decoder does not intentionally collect device identifiers, usage histories, crash reports, or diagnostic information through its own analytics systems.
Apple may independently collect certain diagnostic, App Store, or device information under Apple’s own privacy policies and device settings. Information collected directly by Apple is governed by Apple’s policies rather than this Privacy Policy.

Users must verify all information against current official company documents and authorized company systems before using it for flight planning, dispatch, operational decision-making, regulatory compliance, or any safety-related purpose.
Release Decoder does not replace an official flight release, dispatch release, flight plan, company manual, approved electronic flight bag application, notice, bulletin, or other authorized company source.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
We may share limited account information in the following circumstances:
We may use third-party service providers to provide account authentication, database hosting, email delivery, security, or technical infrastructure. These providers may process limited information only as necessary to perform services on our behalf.

After an account deletion request, we will delete or anonymize account information within a reasonable period, except when retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement purposes.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect account information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no electronic storage or transmission system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Users should protect their devices using a passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, current software updates, and other appropriate security measures. Users should also avoid importing sensitive operational documents onto unsecured or shared devices.
